Place Survey 2008-09

All 7 local authorities in Cumbria have recently been conducting the 2008/9 Place Survey. This is the public opinion survey mandated by central government and used to gather public perception data on a range of National Indicators and other locally relevant issues including council services, policing, health and civic participation.

In Cumbria over 11,300 people completed the survey, making the 2008/9 Place Survey one of the largest and most powerful sources of information we have about what people think and feel about where they live, how local services are performing and priorities for action and change.
